If you’ve been to the Peak District before you’ll know these uplands comprise some of the most stunning scenery in the UK with views that stretch on and on for miles. The park actually covers 555 square miles in Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Yorkshire. If you go and explore you’ll find attractive towns and villages to browse around, and wild places where you can go walking, cycling, or horse riding; there are rolling green hills, heather clad moorlands, rich grass meadows and extensive woodlands. The area offers a myriad of opportunities to get active for all abilities and there are plenty of family attractions to visit, and of course scores of places to stop for a bite to eat.
